Rosie Perez has been a dancer and social activist for over 20 years. She is a famous American actress, who also hosts television shows, writes for, performs, and choreographs. In her early years being a foster child, she endured some of the most difficult times in her life. Because she was the victim of an extra-marital relationship, she hardly ever received love from her parents. Spike Lee approached the actress at a Farewell Party to create a movie. Apart from her part in "Do The Right Things" and "Do The Right Things," she also played as the main character in a number of other films that were successful, including 'White Men Can't Jump' (which received nominations at the Emmy Awards three times) and Fearless. In Living Colour she became the main choreographer for the show. She has also received nominations for three 'Emmy' Awards. Recently, she has appeared in films like The Take as well as Pineapple Express'.
