Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She started her acting career as a supporting actress in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). She then played reporter Willa McPherson in the FX series Dirt and had a supporting role in the short-lived series The Ex List. In the very first season, she starred in the role of Moira O'Hara as a young Moira and in the second season, she was Kaylee. She portrayed Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices several characters in Family Guy's animated comedy. She is currently voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe as a character in Netflix's show Virgin River. Breckenridge was born in Darien in Connecticut. She moved to California with her mother when she was of 10. They moved around for one year before they finally settled in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 years old when she began taking an interest in photography, acting and singing. Breckenridge relocated to Los Angeles with the help of her mother when she was 15.
